I think your underestimating how much it would hurt Trinsic to lose Bugs and those loyal to him, Dreadbane, but ultimately your the King and I'm just an opportunistic thief who happens to be on your side at the moment. One could argue if Trinsic will survive without him and those loyal to him, but I think we all agree his departure would certainly weaken Trinsic, even if we disagree on the finer point of how much. I'm not trying to take anyone's side here, I think both of you have legitimate concerns.

Once again, I would council that you try to reach a compromise, and I think any discussions between you two should take place either in a private chat or in ventrillo. Publicly posting on forums is a bad way to reach a resolution in a conflict because people don't like being criticized publicly, even if the criticism has merit. Perhaps both of you can learn something from each other and help make Trinsic stronger if you discuss your grievances privately and with civility. I don't know if a compromise can be reached but surely it wouldn't hurt to try?

i would really like to see bugs and dreadbane in peace. as yew is joining balance, bugs would have even more militia to lead to battle. come on bugs! negotiate a dealwith dreadbane.. theres much at stake.
i feel all allied towns would thrown in some serious coin to the leading warrior of the forces of balance.

I've had no problem with bugs and we've both been promoting and helping the city in our own way for the past month I was elected. We promote the city to different kinds of players, I try and have an open mind to everyone, from rpers, to paladins/detective, and to militia, while his intentions have been solely toward militia.

I will continue to try to work with bugs, but honestly it's not the end of the world if your city isn't dominating half the map, there's more to helping a city grow than just its militia. Meanwhile, he's done nothing but personally attack me during and now after the election. If he has no intention to work with me, then it's his choice, but I have never attacked him in anyway or hindered his ability to effectively pvp or fight in militia, hell I even tell people he has a really good pvp group when they ask about him.

He leads militia/pvp, it's what he's good at, I've also now secured a larger alliance playerbase (and I too would lead and participate in factions if it wasn't sat nights when I worked). He has just as much power and more now compared to last election cycle, if he completely refuses to work with me and the new alliance for whatever reason though, there's nothing I can do to stop him, it's a game and it's his choice what he wants to do.

Dreadbane truly does have the best intentions for Trinsic. It is a home for many people that are not all PvPers. Bugs leads a great PvP group, but this is not all that matters. The militia will be strong very soon, and many other people support Trinsic as their home. Bugs I was hoping that we could all come to an agreement like we spoke yesterday, but you already jumped the gun when I asked you not to until I discussed matters. I'm sorry you can't hold your temper for more than 6 hours and make such rash decisions. If Trinsic meant that much to you, you would not behave this way..and put the best interests of the city first. Trinsic is not just your home...it is hundreds of people's home.

Greed, pride, wrath and envy do not make a good King. Dreadbane rules justly and listens to his citizens and counsel. I feel sorry for you that you can't let go of your anger and see that.
