I didn't mean for any of my posts to say we should remove sync dumping entirely (as I specifically mentioned before) but I do think it would be cool for a UO server to create a new group dynamic instead of timing insta-kill dumps on single targets. It reminds me of pub 16 pvp where stun/alchy mages could drop someone in a successfully timed combo. Of course, that would require a ton of programming, testing, and player feedback. IPY has bigger things to deal with than this though. I mainly just miss UO pvp before pvp was just calling targets on voice communication. You had to actually know your friends style and habits and pick up on their in game cues but UO will never be like that again. A different, more creative style of group fights would be cool to try and develop. I just think a smart playstyle instead of a "hit macro at same time" style would be better if it was possible to program, but I would never want an endless stalemate. I'll leave it at that.

how do u think sync dumps came to be back in the day? it was a waste of mana to random dump on 1 person in a 3v3 4v4 5v5 8v8 because if they were ANY GOOD WHAT SO EVER they had there bros heals and wait for u to run outa mana and steamroll u. u think ur gonna beat HMU's crew or azria's crew with random dumps? no ur not...

you'd see an increase in the role of dexers without sync dumping. heaven forbid people would have to change their tactics, but i guess only "scrubs" and "****ty players" are capable of changing their strategies.

i think i'd beat hmu or azria's crew with "random" dumps provided sync dumps were not a thing, yes, just as people had been doing for years before sync dumps became the popular boring mess they are today.
