    Congratulations on the post Leo.

It takes a lot of effort to bring something this well thought to the community

Above and beyond the already existing advantage that reds likely aren't expending mana, resources, weight on killing monsters. e.g. blues farming in dungeons are already easy targets for PKs, this just makes them complete fodder.

I do genuinely like the idea but this aspect needs to be tweaked. Some penalty or something to compensate for "activating" the no-aggro due to being kin. Reduced run speed, longer cast time, or something idk ><
Make the kinship only active in the RP zones. So the undead kinship works in Yew crypts but nowhere else. Then they can't steamroll a dungeon or graveyard with unfair advantage.

    Fix OCB first.

Updated some details on the section on Paladins losing their status when performing criminal actions and added the closely related "stat-free-zone" in buc's den.

Section I. Para 2 and Section II. Para 2.

I think it's a lot of good thoughts and ideas, and I genuinely appreciate you caring enough about the shard to share them with us.

On the table for IPY 2.5 are a lot of changes to Paladins. In general, a reshuffling of rewards, powers, and penalties. Hopefully we can achieve some of the things you outlined here.

What I really felt were interesting were the Kinship ideas. Also, Nocturne's ideas in the main forum post were interesting. I don't think it'd take a lot of development time, and people would probably enjoy it very much. Definitely something we'll look at including if we can.

I'm such a lazy person on the forums that I can't say much, except that kinships should not apply in dungeons. More or less what Wyrm'gard said. Restrict it to certain areas. Everywhere but dungeons, really.

Such a fabulous and well written post, Leo. IPY is a great shard and it deserves to flourish again. Despite what trolls will say, having a strong RP presence attracts an audience... AKA more players. Your ideas are spectacular and I would very much like to see staff implement them. Also... wait, no, can't say that.

I'll concede on the point that the Kin groups should not function within dungeons. That definetly opens it up for abuse too much... and when I think about it, the more time Seers have to spend policing that sort of thing, the less time they have to create RP and events.

I do still think that having Seers involved in admission into Kin groups similar to how GMs are involved in admission to the NEW guild is a good idea though. If the option was made available globally via the guild system to just flip a switch and be an Undead or Orc guild, then you erode the uniqueness of the custom decor and housing that would be made available to Kin members in order to facilitate their RP and create points of interest.

After feedback, updated Section III Para 1 to reflect NPC monster neutrality only functional in Evil Regions, and updated the CONS on the same Section III to reflect that.
