Instant boost in population and interesting gameplay

1. Clear the Ban and Firewall lists
2. Clear all existing murder charges
3. Enable field spells in town for everyone

How much work is this? About half an hour including rebooting the shard.

Do this with some discretion. There are still players that should not be allowed to return.

Give some type of reprieve for murderers as well.

I have always wondered why some people have been banned. After I took a break from IPY it looks like a lot of characters that had been active like Badash have been banned I would say that if the offence was minor considered to others some form of return to IPY could be allowed. Perhaps a one time reprieve of murder counts for chars as well...at a cost that could be a great gold sink for the shard

Meh I understand. But it might actually get MOO back or some other guilds who lost interest cause they lost a few guildies.

Either way - what I think the positive would outweigh the negative. The ban stick was probably much heavier when the population was higher. I'd love to hear the numbers but I bet 70% of them were afk resource macroers. Oh boohoo, fishing, lockpicking and a few other ridiculously easy gold making methods ruined the economy anyway.

This isn't the thread for that, if you or anybody has some sort of ban question direct that to AZ. This is a thread about a mass unban. Not to question why a ban happened.

Personally I don't know anybody who was banned that I actually care about whether they play or not.
