skill gain aint hard, it wasn't even hard with rot, you guys are ****ing nuts. you dont need to be 7x gm to have fun in this game, now you can 7x gm pretty fast though. the only change i would have made to rot was making your gains for the day "guaranteed" where you gained all your points in like 20 minutes fast as ****. other than that, i think it was coo. now that it's gone w/e, the servers like every other server, macro it up it aint no thing, we've all done it 1 million times.

the red situation sucks balls though, that's why my friends and i dont really play any more.

Basically, we want others Rpers to RP with and to do RP battles.

It's not about favoritism to roleplayers or giving them cool stuff. It's about building an environment where roleplayers can interact. Once all the 'bad guys' left then what were the 'good guys' left to do? Nothing worth staying around for.

Being a 'bad guy' here is just way too difficult. The cons vastly out weigh the pros. Hell it's hard enough being a 'good guy' here.

"REDS" is too broad a term.

It's not really so much reds that ruin servers, it's griefers. Most griefers just happen to be red, but there are quite a few who are blue.

A$$holes kill servers. For some reason the sandbox that is UO attracts them. For them there is nothing quite like walking around the sandbox taking a dump in it and kicking sand in everyone's eye's. For some people that is all this game is about. It is not a MMO a deeply rich world where they explore and play a game with other people who enjoy the hobby. For them it is a grief factory where you walk around piss people off as many people as possible to farm ego until they get so full of themselves they leave.

the appeal of a sandbox is you can play it however you want, if people want to be total *******s that's their choice and that is what makes a sandbox game exactly that, a sandbox. once you start restricting playstyles, even the ******* ones, it is no longer an open world with free choice. i'd rather players learn to deal with the *******s. it's very simple, go to another part of the "sandbox," ignore them, log out and take a break, kill them, your options are just as varied as theirs. most griefers are just out to harass you and if you don't let them do that they get bored.

unless a player is actually hacking there is no situation where you can't do something about it.

and griefers on this server are paladins, i don't mean that just because i hate stat loss either =P people i know that would regularly be red and are griefers play pallies here because its the easiest way to be a ****.

Buff Destard gold drops..This is a huge open dung that can bring in lots of action from all corners..maybe even have semi rares drop. Something to get people in there. Beside that i agree with the Yew guy..bring the orcs back more Uo crack. Id played a few uo severs including e/a games and this is by far the best....Just needs to keep on the the times I guess. Look forward to 2.5 Even if i dont play as much ill be back to PLay 2.5
