    Patch Notes - July 9th 2012

    Weapons & Magic

    The Quarterstaff now does slightly less high end damage.
    The War Hammer now does slightly more high end damage.
    The Bardiche now provides an even more reliable damage range, with slightly less high end damage.
    The Harm spell now interrupts at 100% success rate every 5 seconds.
    The Heal spell has been reduced in effectiveness slightly.

    Regions

    "Evil" regions have been added wherein all players are flagged criminal and no murder counts are applied for killing players. These areas are now: Yew Orc Fort, Destard Swamp, Yew Crypts in addition to Buccaneer's Den.
    Bugs

    A crash bug was fixed.
    Several Treasury Region bugs were fixed.

    Battlegrounds

    The Pinnacle now has no join requirements.

    Monsters & Dungeons

    Skeletal Mages now appear differently.
    Skeletal Dragons no longer produce barbed hides.
    White Wyrms added to the game.
    Shadow Wyrms now have increased treasure.
    White and Shadow Wyrms have had their breath effects altered.
    Wrong Dungeon has been revamped.

    Interesting, I don't disagree with the combat changes but am a bit confused. Why have a poll for mini heal and then implement the 2nd least popular option which only had 14% of the votes.

    Hard to comment on the damage/heal changes without testing them out a bit.

    The evil regions are not going to do much as PvP is already spread too thin.

    After examining the current complaints and solutions, it was felt that a very small healing reduction for the spell would be something we could attempt. Testing will occur until Monday, at which time we will make our final decision and update the patch notes accordingly.

    The change to Heal is very small, let me reiterate. Typically, what you'll see is a 1 damage healed reduction.
