Eliminate Statloss, AFK fishing and Wind Forums.

Statloss is a huge turnoff. Always has been to a certain crowd that we could use more of.
AFK fishing gold straight into the bank is lame, and promotes people being afk more often.

With the removal of both of these things, you will see more people farming in dungeons, and more people pking them.

Then remove the wind forums. Instead of posting about things that are coming, just do them. Then sort out the problems.
At this point, with 'skill exhaustion'' GONE it's so easy to change your character to adapt to any changes made. And if some change is generally hated, it can always be removed.

I tried to get afk fishing removed a long time ago. The damage has been done, though removing it now we can at least begin the healing process.

I don't have a problem with AFK fishing... I think the problem is AFK fishing right next to banks.

Even while AFK, you still have to go check on your character once a day or so, sell steaks/bank them/whatever... but with AFK to bank fishing you only have to check back about once a month to sell them en-mass, then go back to not playing.

Also, screw doing away with statloss. Reds are always telling others "risk is part of the game." Statloss is a risk you should suck up. Not everyone thinks overbearing and ridiculous amount of PKing is a good thing. There's multiple ways to play the game, and not all of them involve being a griefer.

Where are people AFK fishing anymore? I don't see them anywhere... it's not like it was months ago where every other screen had one.

We didn't loose 600 clients from AFK fishing dude... and banning it certainly won't bring them back.

To your other point though... remove statloss... I think that would actually bring back a lot of players. Lots of murderers but lets face it; most of UO is about PvP and a lot of PvP is murdering.

Maybe this should be the PvP shard and the staff should get off this "rampant dread lords is EEEVIIILLL" high horse?

theres alot of people afk fishing, check serpents hold and minoc, jhelom and many more places. What you dont seem to understand is the mere fact that you can do it shows the server promotes a warped playstyle, which turns normal people off, sexually.

i think people do quit the server because of this afk fishing, and go back to more friendly servers that dont promote grinding gold in this manner, alot of people have mentioned that they dont like it, and im sure since your join date is feb 2011 youve probably been making a ton of gold in this manner. people continuously fishing directly into their banks is disgusting, people want to see more dungeon action and less "i fish and zerg thats all i do"
