Random suggestions in addition to making them blessed, non-repairable ect..
The proc only works if the wearers armorclass is above XX.
The wearer can only be bandaged by a special, and more expensive, type of bandage.
The wearer is criminal flagged.
I honestly don't see where the problem is: slayer weapons are being released as we speak, more will hit the game, eventually their value will decrease a bit since they gonna be rare but not unique, then people will start using them.
Pve contents requiring an "extra" effort might encourage the use of them, and they are planned accordling to Az (Deceit lvl 5?).
I think such weapons should be threaten exactly as ordinary weapons and do damage on players , the proc wouldn't work on players anyway since its triggered by specific targets.
That unless Az plans are to release slayer weapons which damage will overcome vanq weapons, but is that necessary? if you want a more powerful slayer weapon all you have to is to increase the damage /% of the proc effect which wont affect players.
I see great incentives in casual dungeon pvp with such weapons around, why take it away?
Give the players pve encounters where such weapons might make the difference and they will bring them.

There would still be incentives to go kill players using these weapons (if the weapons were blessed), such as the gold they would be farming in said dungeons.
You don't really make any profit by owning a blessed weapon for pvm farming if you cant protect your gold.
The problem I could see being the most often occuring one is:
advanced players kill people for slayer weapons, and then go use them for private fire dungeon farming.
Why not have super slayers apply to ALL monsters. Make it really super.
Ugh I'm not going to spend hours convincing 99 people Idont know why SuperSlayers should be unblessed.
Az, please do not bless them. PvM drives PvP and these should be susceptible to risk/loss like everything else in UO.
Risk vs Reward!!
No blessings, ty! Make them less rare, maybe, but never-ever bless em.
