I dunno, he's got a point. UO's a sandbox. Automated events are exactly the type of mentality behind Themepark MMO activities, i.e. the game creating the fun for you instead of putting it in the players' hands Yes, we all love fun but it's a slippery slope. Instead, what IPY or any sandbox should strive to do is give the players better tools to make cooler **** in their sandbox. However, that sort of thing takes a lot of creative thinking and most likely a ridiculous amount of coding. Which, I guess in IPY's case... isn't as feasible since altering the core game a bit is about as far as they can go

Honestly you are getting on my nerves, this thread isn't about Uo:R and the Golden Lands it's about upcoming changes on the currently Facet/Ruleset we playing, so cut the zealot attitude and the mockery, as far I 'm concerned you are a guy that would rather play AOS than the currently ruleset aka someone from Mars.
There is plenty of AOS and Uo:R shard floating around, it's not bizarre that we don't like your "angle" ,it's outrageous that you trying to force it to us like we are followers of a false religion.
