Let's Improve PvP

I'd have to disagree with you Pierre. I don't make myself out to be a great PvPer by any means, but I do hold my own pretty well against mages 1v1. I play 1 character, a dexxer, I'm sure you all know me. Theres really only a few mages that I have trouble with on a consistent basis. HMU, black tea, azria/PW to name a few. I use high end weapons, generally a power fork and bow, (i prefer the bow for speed) and this keeps the mages on the defensive on a consistent basis. I agree it is frustrating to miss a swing and have all your dmg negated on a gheal, but I don't see any feasible way you can get around that without making dexxers too OP. 1v1 any well stocked dexxer should be able to keep an average to good mage on the defensive 1v1, it may take you a while to kill them, or they may recall out or run away, but that is a victory to me nonetheless.

I think ViolentBeard had a good suggestion, which was to adjust the chance to hit vs GM wrestling so that it's less "lucky" as people like to say.

As a dexer, if someone doesn't want to fight you they don't really have to. This makes it really rare that you get a kill 1v1, and these long draconian fights dexers engage in are so easily escaped once the person you're fighting decides that they don't have the advantage. Unfortunately, I only consider kills a victory

Also, you have to roll around with high end weapons/armor and plenty of stock. Mages don't have that as a necessity.

I still enjoy the concept of a dexer but 1v1, a good mage can beat a good dexer any day and in group fights dexers (even the yew swarm) are a rarely-successful joke when it comes to actual killing power.

Imagine how many kills you'd get if your group could sync dump instead of "bow dump"; It's not balanced

Are you talking about me or Pierre, African? My feedback is pretty simple stuff, I didn't really read the thread too thoroughly but I don't think its wildly unrealistic to expect most people who PvP would agree Qstaffs are slightly unbalanced and mini heal could use a tweak.

As much as I don't really care about Yew, this is a pretty weak argument African. It would make more sense if you were attacking his points specifically with criticisms or counter-points.

If you're implying player skill, that's fine. But azria/pow wiz get much more accomplished on their mages, as do the other players you would lump in that category

Once again, an insult and not an argument. Try reading my posts next time and using some of what I've said to make yourself sound halfway intelligent
