    I'm worried this won't drastically increase the population as a whole, maybe by 20-25% but then that's 25% more people split over twice the area.

    Also, I know Sen will work his ass off to ensure people can't **** the system and land inside caslte walls, but as an owner of one of the only safe ones on the server that's been up a long time
    and that no one has runes to, I worry that someone can still find a way in that gets overlooked, mark 50 runes and have them out and circulating with no way to fix it in a day.

    Relax about this. The only thing that crossed my mind making any of these decisions was our population and the health of the shard. I've even been listening to concerns about this sort of thing in this thread and making changes to our plans based on those concerns.

    I agree with you, even tho i'll wait for 2.5 to judge it, i feel that Az is too careful with changing mechanics and ends up missing the prime moment that mechanic would benefit the shard. Like the no RoT patch.. everyone had finished chars when that came out...and even tho skill is easier it's no where a BIG change on the skills that truly matter.

    It isn't intended to be either. Why don't you get a group of vets together and brainstorm on changes that would help the server instead of winging it? There is 20+ pages of loyal players here telling you this is the wrong idea...

    What do you consider a few? The bulk of the first 15 pages are all different people complaining. Irc was flooded with people saying the same. I'll eat eat my words if this turns out well, but it just seems so foolish to ignore what so many are saying.

    I remember recently reading that you did not want achievements to be "grindy" Az. But what do you think creating a new facet with no transfers of items/skills is?

    Haven't we already lost enough players due to the grind? Who is going to want to start on this server knowing that each character has be to leveled x2, stock farmed x2, etc? And how many of the players that stuck it out through the grind are willing to do it again? I am not.

    I spent a lot of time creating characters/buying houses/stocking said houses so that I could just do what I wanted and have this game stop feeling like a job.
