imo the current IPY is like trammel, this new facet is going to be like fel assuming its a complete UO:R replica.
no trammy gates straight to town from dungeons (i am assuming/hoping) and no pally system. pk paradise.

Where are you getting this idea that the UO:R facet is going to be free reign for PKs? I don't see anything about statloss on the blog post.

Sounds to me like most of the action will move to the new land providing enough people will go through starting fresh and the current land will be a ghost town. It's got the pvp system we've been asking for, it's got tougher monsters we've been asking for, it's got free rain pking that at least the majority of pvpers asked for. I guess current land will be for newer players and RP guilds? Kinda makes me sad that a lot of these changes seem to be taking place over there (most importantly better pvp system in factions and move pve options) anyway, save my real opinions till after the change, but for now I worry.
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

I love how all the new **** is happening in the "golden lands". Forcing people to donate again to get cool stuff over there. LOL
So like
When is this happening
the "parallel play" thing seems goofy to me. i don't really care for that, but i guess at least it will make things seem more populated. i dunno though, since you cant take anything over or back and your skills change i don't see a whole lot of reason to go back and forth. i'll probably just move to the new place entirely assuming it's what i think it is. probably a lot of people will do that like Jay said.
Literally for babies. The most touted feature of this new patch is something that is too advanced for infants but immature for people who are older than 3. Here's to hoping for free diaper changing stations too.
Ok let's keep things civil. If you don't like the patch concept, point out specific things you don't like about it, offer constructive criticism if you have it, but let's not go ****ing nuts here with attacking people, getting personal, or reducing this to the lowest common denominator.
