Anyone got a team in the finals? I do not as i am a huge Lightning fan, kinda leaning towards the Kings since they're seeded 8th. Also i think Quick is a bad ass goalie. Dont get me wrong, Brodie is amazing as well but im liking the Kings in this one.

Kings are going to run over the Devils, but as with all things I find it hard not to cheer for the underdog. Go Devils.

Hard not to cheer for perhaps one last run by Brodeur...but would rather see the Kings take it ( and a couple of tours with the cup in my town by Carter and Doughty at Barney's patio!!)

Well, they certainly aren't destroying Jersey but if you know D.S. than you should know why these games are so close. LA in 4 guaranteed now, unless by some stroke of luck NJ manages to win 1. Never before has an 8th seed team been so dominant, this tells me that no matter where you finish, in this new NHL (the cap, player caps and all) anyone can win. C'MON LEAFS! lol

Well, they got 2... I am really surprised. I really don't think they will be able to pull off another win in LA but who am I to say anything, every prediction I have made about these stanley cup finals has been wrong. I would love to see another team win the cup after being down 3-0, the last time it happened was my Leafs coming back against Detroit. Go Devils.
I am hoping they make a push for Yakupov while at the same time keeping the 5th overall pick. I know we are in a need to win now situation but I am certain if they picked up Yak and yuk that they would be just as good as any forward they could trade for. Who knows, you get those kids plus maybe a Parise and then get a vet Goalie and this team could be flying high come playoff time next year. Go Leafs.
..altough, our 3rd and 4th liners could really use a tune up. Everyone is so quick to blame Kessel and Lupul for lack of defensive play but nobody ever points out how the 3rd and 4th lines keep letting us down. Hopefully if they don't change much on those lines Carlyle can get them on the right path.
