I'm not a huge fan but The Beastie Boys were more next level than decades of children wishing they were half as innovative as Black Sabbath.
Metal is some seriously fruity stuff. Even heads will readily admit this, that's part of the charm.

The guy died, his music probably changed peoples lifes. They were preforming at the beginning of their era.
They dominated at their concerts.
Go listen to that song where it tell you how no one likes you. The one where they bang their head and freestlye on the eletric guitar the whole time.
I love the Beastie Boys really sad to see MCA go, especially at the young age of 47.
You can't really tell anyone the music they listen to is crap, its all about doing what you love, and in this case listening to what you love. If someone wants to listen to what I think is bad music I don't knock what they enjoy. (although i might try and nudge them in a better direction)
