I think that's a subtle blow to our PvP prowess, Veis. Kraton is saying that we suck so much that his guys will wipe the floor with us.

Bring it on, I say, Mr. Undead-man! The Core will grind your bones back into dust!

This is a really cool Idea!

Veis, Dont forget to check PM's I sent a pm to ya. And fer Grinding Undead bones to dust hehehe we shall see!

Im stoked about this event or any event that gets us combating in fun ways I say we try it out and keep an open mind as we can refine the event as needed.

It may start out with a couple of things that come up that might need tweeking but if we work together in friendly sport well make something special happen.

In other words lets not make it about winning and losing or who killed who but make it about building friendships within the comunity of rpers The thing i would like to see is when WE die meaning anybody that participates we get ressed and then go to a zone fer the dead waiting to get back into combat. That way we can chat it up with all whom participate and then its on again. even exchange storys.

Nothing made my one on one better with Veis then the fact we got to talk after about what we were trying to do and what we managed to do kind of a laugh after it was done, also educational afterwords as well, well fer me anyways. Liven Learn, Die'n Learn.

Maybee we should have ressers posted at the battle sites as well making a res quick and then off to the penalty box kinda have a reffery at the dead site that takes the time for the dead and lets em go when 5 min is up sort of like ice hockey penalty box.

    What ya think?

Yeah, next time you are free come see me in my vent and we can talk about it Veis.

As for Rehsif: If this interpretation of my words gets you feeling competitive and wanting to prove me and my guys wrong then, yes, it is exactly what I meant. (otherwise, no, I had a reason behind what I posted).
It is time for everyone to choose their side! Prisoners will not be taken. Remember, not choosing a side is still a decision and one that may cost you you your life.

Either accept the life of a soldier and defender of the virtues of the Yew Militia

Or Become something more, let nothing stand in your path as the will of the guardian unfolds. Join the Undead and become subservient to no man!

    Kraton, Drekk and Akantis.

Rehsif is it? Well I dont think he ment that at all, however if your already becoming defencive this musssst be for good reason? So Yes letsssss "Bring it On!"

Have you been beheaded by the Great Krell Yet? Have you met the howl of the Vile Wolf? Felt the Cold Fear of Mephilics lurking magics?

Be afraid Rehsif! Be VERY AFraid of the Undead for they are Immortal

"MMMuuuuuaaaahhhhhh hahahahahaaaaaaaaa!" A menacing cackle could be heard in the echo's of the tree's.

I'd also recommend doubling the number of packhorses, but filling only half of them with goods (4 full / 4 empty as decoys essentially). Mostly because players will probably just ignore the caravan defenders and just explode/ebolt/flamestrike the packhorses really, really quick.

Also back when I was in Yew I distinctly remember a time when we were fighting 16 of us vs 4 PEC and we still couldn't kill more than one of them, and even that took about 15 minutes Just saying its going to be really hard for you folks to stop 3-4 people who are working together from killing two packhorses if they set themselves to it; at least with more horses things might last longer.

Alternatively, if everyone involved is willing to stick to the roleplaying theme of this (which I'd hope people participating would), you could ask that nobody attack the pack horses until all the caravan defenders are defeated; which would make more sense, since the goods would technically be valuable.

Ideally yes, killing the pack horses via suicide bombing for example, is totally possible and very hard to stop short of a gank of mages.

In the spirit of the event, eliminating the garrison forces first might be more prudent, and climactic battle wise.

And yes, 14 Yew vrs 4 skilled pvpers tends to be the correct ratio, usually because the escape mechanisms in the game are easily obtained, and we lack the hardcore bunch of players. Some shards we have packs of poison archers or paralyzing spear hits which turns up out gaggle of troops success rates =p

way ahead of you bros... i've asked Tilly if she could make us some beefed up packhorses for us to use in the event, she said she doesnt think it should be a problem, so they'll be a bit tougher to kill and we'll have our vets their as well :P
