Why so littler dex swords players?

Most of the players I see with the standard "Warrior" build use either macing or fencing and I only see swords on tank mages...why is that?

Wouldn't it be advantageous to use a halberd, get a hit, dance out of range then run back in for another big hit?

I guess I'm thinking of this character:
    Swords
    Tactics
    Anatomy
    Healing
    Hiding
    Stealth
    Magery
    100 str
    100 dex
    25 int

stealth up to a guy, hit him with a halberd, cast wall of stone to block his easiest escape, equip DPed katana and finish him with it...

You don't need magery for up to level 3 spells, I think... just use scrolls.

Not really relating to the original topic. But that char will be gimped out with hiding/stealth and no finisher.

that might work against mages...rarely...but against a good mace or fencing dexxer your ooped

Plus if u ask me a dexxer needs archery with his melee.

Honestly people always talk about warriors having archery to finish people running. Heavy xbows fire so slow unless you only need one shot they arent that helpful to finish anyone. Regular bows hit for so little damage unless you use vanqs you wont finish anyone 1 on 1 that has any skill.

To the original question I bet a lot of people don't do swords dexers because they want to do something different than swords since they already have it with their mage. I would say as a dexer if you want to fight people who are prepared for pvp maces makes a huge difference. Dp only bothers people who dont carry tons of cure pots. People also might do fencing instead of swords on dexers because the weapon speeds are fast.

Oh and someone who wants to play a stealth dexer can easily have the 20 magery which is helpful for casting things like magic trap and especially for boosting the level of spell scrolls you can cast.

I guess the idea of the character would be that he would be stealth onto other characters that are already engaged with another creature or player, so the odds of him attacking someone at 100 health would be low...I was assuming that the player would be at around 75 health or less, Hally hit, they're down to 33% health range, might be in panic mode / wtf stealth? mindset while im walling and then as they're trying to get their act together I'm on them DP katanaing

If its a kind of character you want to play go for it. I personally am in the minority as far as I build characters I want to play instead of finding out whats the most OP and building that. If you want the most powerful stealth pk then I'd just go with a stealth mage cause I don't think your gonna find anything with the burst damage as well as abilities to stun your target, teleport to catch them as a mage.

Swords archers are good. Hxbow + hally -> DP katana, bow or hxbow when they're running.
