What an amazing movie. Clearly one of the best murder mystery / action films I've ever seen; best of the 21st century in my book. A little convoluted in the middle what with all the obscure names merely mentioned in the beginning actually became relevant later on. About half way to 3/4 through I was thinking "Ugh... this is too confusing... they mentioned that name like once a half hour ago and now I'm supposed to care?" But by the end they really did pull it all together, it made sense, and turned out spectacularly.

Like so many films now... not for the feint of heart. I'm sure everyone's heard of the infamous "rape scene" but that wasn't the only very tough scene to watch. Her retribution scene on the rapist was just as graphic and horrible. The suffocation scene was very intense; my wife was really disturbed by that as well. The forced blow job.... lots of bad language.... lesbian sex... nudity.... it's a pretty graphic movie. However I think they did a good job of not making those things the point of the movie.

The murder mystery plot was very engaging and clearly the focus of the movie. The actions scenes were well done and very "believable".

Great movie; highly recommend it!
