If any one who played UoRedemption they will know I mean.
This would make rare selling alot easier and also would be alot more accessible as not everyone uses the forums.

Just so long as nobody starts farming auctioneers.. lol
Cant think of a way to explain it better then it being auctioneers but it has a menu that appears then you target the item and itll put in the auction system. You would be charged a small auction fee then you can add the item and then a description of it. Then there was a menu in which you could browse all the items and you could click on them and read the description and the info the person but about the item. There would also be a buyout price option available as well as just a timed auction. People could at any time withdraw there item from the auction if they didnt like where it was going. [even though there was a minimum bid you can set] When you was outbidded your gold would be returned to your bank.
ahh i getcha, like wow. i don't really like the idea though because it means less player to player interaction. vendors already killed the whole local smithy at the forge all day kinda deal which used to be awesome when UO came out, and if there were auctioneers there'd be no reason to meet with guys to trade any more at all.
On Lake Superior we used to have actual auctioneers. A couple of the different big name merchants on the server would hold auctions houses that were designed specifically for auctions, and the auctioneer would display the item, take bids, and then other staff would port to the bank, meet the winner for whichever item they won to make the exchange. It was a very efficient and fun system.
I am starting an Event guild that will hold Auctions, Lottos, Tournies, etc.
