From what I gather based on the conversations in this forum, the mainlaind orcs are looking for RP interactions with other guilds/players. There will be fights/wars, as I can't see human guilds (example Yew, which I am a civilian) being very friendly with orcs (IC of course). Being blue for the mainlaind orcs seems like the obvious way to go in order to fit their play styles.

There is nothing wrong with the Ice Island orcs either as long as they enjoy what they are doing. However, they can't expect guild/players that are looking for interactions before fights to make the trip to Ice Island often so they can be KOS.

There is place for both orc guilds on the server. Players who choses to play an orc simply have to decide which play styles fits them better.

    Anyway, just my 2 cents.
    Agreed completely.

There is no better or worse way to play this game, it is a sandbox game. There is only preference.

Please do not degenerate this thread into a pissing contest. Both orc guilds have a place on this server, and now people who want to play a blue orc with a bit more RP also have the opportunity to make their orc.

I'll also add that people who have created orcs already who are red are also welcome to join!

Now, create your orc characters and PM/irc/skype me your name, get your skills up to a decent basic level (optional, you can still join as a 10 minute old character!) and get to the fort!

There are 3 orcs on the stone so far and another 4-5 or so who have msg'ed me that they are training their orc. SO help us swell the ranks even further! That fort needs defending!

Yew had it's first encounter with the Skulls (we apparently have war status) and despite it being 2 new runts' it was a throw back to the type of interaction we're all seeking here for sure.

I wish the best of luck to the new clan, and if it takes off, we can get back to some epic wars and plotlines like the old days.

We really have some character work to do, but that will all come in time. We are hoping to get a few more names on the rock here within the next few days, and hopefully be able to put up a good fight within the month. We are working on merging our backgrounds from Shadowclan and the Europa clans into one exciting one here. Look for us around the fort, or maybe raiding Yew.

    HOOWAH!

There is nothing wrong with playing as an ork on ice island except that they don't role play but they try to portray themselves as a role playing guild.

Take for example this ork speaking in english.

Johnny, you spend almost all of your time in game shouting expletives and running to your house at the first sight of the Orks. Maybe instead of blabbering on forums and making multiple posts about how Ork plays, you should practice playing the game yourself and maybe you'd spend less time playing in grayscale.

Hey, every guild has their slip ups. I've caught a fair amount of our recruits using lol and stuff like that. Some people are new to RP or just don't understand it. But if they're willing to learn, that's all that matters. But don't blame an entire guild for the deeds of a few. The orcs on ice island like to play their way. We like to play ours. It's different styles and that's something we can all learn to enjoy.
