Ive seen a lot of people suggesting easier/cheaper modifications for murderers.

I played UO in Beta and kept my acct for over 10 years after (didnt play it much the last few years)

the main thing, in my opinion, that pussified real UO was people whining and crying about it not being fair or being too hard.

Nerf after Nerf after Nerf finally led to the creation of trammel, the destruction of thieves, and the downfall of uo.
When this was happening, we Vets would say it was the kiddies and the care-bears that ruined UO by wanting it easier all the time.

From what I have seen here... it's the PK'ers and the Murderers that are starting the ball rolling on what has already once proven to be death for a version of UO.

If you want to keep a dynamic, active, real version of UO... PLEASE stop wanting it to be easy!!!!!

He hit the nail on the head with that one. My smith on Osi took 3 months to train, not counting the months of minning to get the ingots. And after he was GM he could actually make gold doing it. Smiths hung around the forges doing repairs and selling armor and weps. It was too hard and expensive for everyone to have thier own smith and gold wasnt as easy to get so everyone took care of what they had. The community was alot friendlier and relied on each other much more. It would be almost imposable to duplicate those days especially on a freeshard. Most everyone wants to be able to macro up a 7x and pvp or pvm.
