Reduction/removal of the ebolt damage delay.
It's amazing how many people will still refresh their houses on a server they know nobody really plays and is going to be deleted soon.
What would be the point of bringing up a temporary server to give something people to do in the meantime? Couldn't people just log on to IPY 2 if they were interested in playing that?
It's also worth nothing these changes from a few months ago:
The Harm spell now interrupts at 100% success rate every 5 seconds regardless of magic resist.
The Heal spell has been reduced in...
Making any major changes to the pvp mechanics would be ridiculous no matter what era they're from since it isn't something that has been widely requested. I'd be fine if Az left the pvp mechanics...
I'm still curious as to what you consider to be the 1997 ruleset. Is it just the game as it was originally released? Besides the obvious passage of time, what signified the end of the 1997 era in...
True, but what do you consider to be the core pvp mechanics of 1997? Archery being the top pvp skill? Mages wearing plate without med/eval? The dominance of low circle spells? Healing being a useless...
I'm curious as to what you consider to be the core rules of 1997. When I think back on 1997, I remember a few things:
First, the awful notoriety system. Yea, the dread lord and great lord concept...
Uo today is almost unrecognizable in both gameplay and style compared to classic UO. It's weird looking at videos of it. It's like a completely different game.
I voted T2A. I know that UOR isn't terrible, but I prefer the T2A ruleset and I probably won't play the relaunch if the ruleset changes. I was hoping that IPY 3 would be IPY 2 with a lot of popularly...
Yea, this thread is kind of irrelevant now.
I kind of like the delay on Ebolts, because it does make positioning yourself in relation to your teammates and target important. However, the delay is too long as it is now. At max range, it is...
Yea, I can understand that mindset, but I don't see how health percentages, auto-open doors, smart target, etc. ties into that. The only one of those options that I actually use is the health...
I agree. I can see wanting to remove next target, but removing health percentages is excessive and doesn't really make much sense. Bar pulling is already a critical skill and will only be more so...
Pretty sure the "block heal while poisoned" thing is referring to the option in razor, but the option is useless here anyways.
You need to brush up on your Ultima Online lore. It's a reference to Mondain's Gem of Immortality.

What is the League of Honor? Also, where did Az mention custom housing?
"- Negotiated Razor and AssistUO features."
Nice. No more Target Closest?
Looking forward to any word on this. Looks like you can disallow almost every feature in AssistUO while disallowing Target Closest in Razor.
If you use port 2594 instead of port 2583, you can still login to UOZombies.
Most players don't cheat, but every good player is going to be accused of cheating at some point.
Gates should just drop you off in a random part of whatever city you're a citizen of. Militia members, criminals, reds, and aggressors shouldn't be able to use them at all.
