Starting a new thread because the last one was diluted with some other issues.
Yew will be hosting a branch on IPY. We will of course be stationed in Yew. More to come.

Any idea what the roster might look like? Zeke, Luthorn, Nocturne?

I have to ask, how hardcore will you be running the guild? Will it be like the old days with no macroing, uniforms, weapon restrictions (Perhaps a copper system?) and very very harsh restrictions on magery?
Imo the more you make it like the old days the more fun it will be, since it's not about leetpvp or vanqs I don't think it would matter that much to lose gear =) (Not with the amount of Trainees it will! Mine mine mine!"

Imril, look at page six of the 'yew militia' thread in this forum. Veis explains his position on the whole magery restriction concept.

Aye that I do. The leadership of the IPY branch is going to be a combination of me, Zeke, and Kenny Nelson. We'll be getting together and discussing the details in the future. I'm more of the Oldschool type myself, I prefer strict divisions and uniforms, but the game has changed, so we'll see.

I'm really happy to have such a legendary guild making its way to IPY. Guilds like Yew are vital to the shard's community. I've spoken time and time again about balancing player types and the health of the game world, so I'm totally jazzed about this. Welcome!

swweeeeeeeeeeet!
i love colorful guilds. no desire to be in one, but it really adds something when you have stuff like this (and in other time periods, stuff like orc guilds living in the orc fort)
glad to have you aboard!
