View Full Version : Which client to have for launch?

Hi all! As the title states, which client version should we have ready for launch day? I have been out of the loop for quite some time and don't know much about this =/ Thanks in advance!

If IPY2 is built off the latest version of RunUO, which I believe is 2.1, any fully patched client should work. If you have an older client, and are nervous, I wouldn't patch above 5.X, as I know there is an authentication issue with older RunUO versions and patch version 6.0 and higher.

And instead of me being a total ****suck like most everyone on every forum i will redirect you to said thread which i believe covers everything your asking.
I do wonder myself because i know there were problems with divinity and haveing the wrong client resulted in random buildings that you could see and noone els could see >.>
So i myself am curious to what we need to get started.
Also on a side note totaly related but not..
Anone have any luck using UOAM lately, or is that even allowed here?

It doesn't have to be the client, if they were running custom built stuff you would need to download updated .mul files. Which I believe will be the case here as well since there are supposed to be new boats and such.
