Just finished watching the dvd. Man, been a while since I had so much fun watching a TV series. Any of you have seen it? What do you think about it?
Lucy Lawless topless was a no-brainer for me :p
For those that didn't see it, check out IMDB.com (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1442449/).
Lol: The series I meant, not Lucy Lawless topless. For that you need to watch the series yourselves. Loved it.
Slow start, but kicking twists. Heard Jan 2011 will be some prequels Az.

Yep. As soon as I heard Lucy Lawless was getting topless in a TV show, I made sure to note this event on my schedule.
Amusingly enough, the show was AWESOME and I watched every subsequent episode.

The series had incredible writing and surprisingly good casting. Shame about Sparty.

Yeah, but if they can't continue... that one season was epic and classic. They could still do some prequels, but I'd be afraid of them ruining it, really.

I watched this after I read it in this thread and this show was awesome.
I'm on episode eleven. My only complaint is there is almost too much sex and violence, like at times they just put sex and or violence in when it's not needed. I guess they meant to do that though to showcase what it might have been like back then.
Spartacus's actor was diagnosed with metastatic non hodgkin's lymphoma and won't be performing in any subsequent shows unfortunately. He was perfectly suited for that role.

my favorite thing about this show is that the main character is totally replaceable, for the most part
i mean its not like you watch it for the intense, gripping story
you already know whats going to happen, its just 300 on tv
