I was reading a thread on here about IPY Wiki and someone posted that it would kind of act like a historian kind of thingy as well as provide info. That made me think of some of the old times. Does anyone have anything from old UO/IPY websites.

The one I remember and enjoyed the most was McFly's agrandrogue.com. There were many others but that one was the best imo. If someone has some of those I think it would be awesome to share.

Want memories? I got a story. Oh, and it's from Catskills.

Had a tower on Ice Island. It was awesome. Ran a PvP guild, ranked up a pretty big ban list, also lots of orc spawn on the island, banned those ****ers too.

One day, I had an issue with some kind of bull****, I called a GM. I think someone couldn't get onto the guildstone or something, whatever, the GM showed up to fix it. He goes visible, we start discussing the issue, and I'm on my guild GM/super newb character, and orcs keep coming in, attacking me, I ban them, ban list is full, I remove, blah blah blah it gets annoying after like 2 minutes.

So the GM decides to delete the orc. Instead, he deletes the front door. So I now have a tower with only ONE DOOR on the front. How ****ing awesome? Anyway, GM says "whoops, can't fix that, sorry" and leaves me a chest with a castle deed and like literally 3 stacks of 60k uncooked fish steaks. Weird, right?

I had a doorless tower on Ice Isle as a guildhouse for liiiiike, 3 months. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, memories (Cats).

Wait, a GM on OSI gave you a castle deed? That is badass. I'd get my door deleted for that any day.

Yeah man. That story is 100% completely true, no exaggeration. A castle deed, a bagillion fish steaks, and maybe like a harp or something. In one of those lockable red boxes. He was just like "sorry", dropped it, and peaced out. I don't even remember his name. I had full screenshotted documentation of it years and years back but I remember drop kicking that computer in the middle of the street when I finally got a new one. It was all virused up anyway and all my good screenshots from like 99-02 got corrupted. God I ****ing wish I had those screenshots. If you can find anyone who was in the NES or N64 on Catskills, they all know about my missing door. It was awesome.

And looking back on it now, I'd say the tower with a missing door was worth like 10 castle deeds. That **** was a unique.
