Where are other common spots that your client crashes?

Mine is anywhere near the city of Cove. Thought it is probably due to my client for crashing near the cove bank, I would still say that everyone, not matter what client has been crashing issues with the moongates.

Please vote so we can see some real numbers of the issue. Thanks! - Your very very very very best pal aka Woodlife.

I crash at moongates sometimes.

Worst problem for me is crashing at banks, especially when macroing.

Which banks are the most problematic? Britain I assume? I've never once client crashed at the Minoc, Yew, Skara, Jhelom or Moonglow banks. Just the Britain and Cove banks have given me issues.

That's odd. A good contributing factor to mine could be that my house sits at the moongates, however it is not uncommon to see anywhere up to 10 people all crash at once. When I usually ask, they are most using the up todate clients.

I think since there are so many numbers, It would be helpful to the Admins by finding the hotspots, and by doing that, possibly eliminating the reason for client crashes.

Never crashed at a moongate. The majority of my crashes occur due to using my browser. If I have a site up in the background that constantly refreshes (Facebook) or plays music (Pandora, Youtube) then I will lag and occasionally crash. It's really not that often for me, though.

my 64 bit system crashes constantly, and everywhere.

My old 32bit XP machine just loses connection a lot, and actually crashes only a handful of times.

When using Windows 7 there is an issue with Yahoo messenger causing crashes. For me though it's solely at specific locations.

.... and the mystery continues :P

These crashes are so frustrating.

Every restart it is a different group of people who crashes. The one lead I had was disabled on the last restart, and crashes continue. So I'm really at a loss as to what direction to look.

Need moar crash detectives.

Step 1: Does anyone play any other shards? Are you crashing as often on other shards?

I don't, so I can't say. But figuring out if it's something specific to this shard, a patch level, or RunUO would be helpful.

My best guess so far for the majority of crashes is that it is something with Razor + High Seas client.

I'm willing to provide workarounds server-side if I can ever figure out what the problem is though.

I'm always crashing when there are too many sounds repeating too quickly. Like people getting stuck at the moongate and to many people macroing music.

Some crashing are caused by actions of nearby people, which means it's gonna occur more near busy banks. I'm pretty sure these aren't due to razor since they've been happening before I started using razor.

I have crashed once at the brit moongate and it was a razor runtime error which I've never had happen before. My crashes are usually the kind where the client locks up after going afk or from running two instances.

Having Razor filter sounds like spirit speak got rid of crashes at banks for me, but I still crash at moongates. I rarely have to use them now, so I can't really say if the issue was fixed after this last restart. It definitely seems like the cause is sound related, with too many of them attempting to play at once, which results in a crash. When a moongate is porting back onto itself people tend to just spam click it.
