Why no IPY2 on joinuo.com?

Its been over a week now and we still arent on sites like joinuo.com that reach 100's of people each day scanning them to see what new servers they want to play. I think we could probably add at least a few hundred more people if we advertised. It would also be great to see how the population is growing with their charts

I think its wrong to assume that everyone that plays uo knows about the server because we have 1800+ on. I think we could pull even more people off other servers and even reach new people that maybe just play UOR or AOS servers that have never tried T2A but would if they saw a shard up on joinuo that has over 1800 online, that might push us to being over 2000+ average on non peak hours!

Totally Agree... We need some more marketing. Perhaps some more vote stones in game too? (dont make them give rewards) just for us players that want to vote!

Screw votestones. If people want to vote they will vote.

I am all for putting small voting buttons on the forum/homepage though.

I've never seen these sites significantly impact the online count of a shard.

Remember - IPY 1 basically created the other medium/large free UO shards at the time through sheer runoff and traffic 'exchanges' like this. In short:

Everyone knows about IPY. Nobody knows about Timmy's AOS Shard. Others benefit more than we do from directing traffic to those sites, in my opinion.

I'm just not too interested in this sort of thing.

If people joined the servers on joinuo, i'm confident i would have heard of more than 1 of the top 10.

Some of those servers don't even have people playing on them apparently.
That pre-T2A genesis server had like 1 person online. lol.

I'm in the mindset that any publicity is a plus for the server. Even if it attracts just one person.

Doesn't take much effort to get registered there so why not?

you have to go and make it show the servers by "online"

hybrid and UOSA are on there , they are the most popular shards out there right now, wouldnt u want us to be with them to show how better we are?

This is going to become a discussion/name dropping thread for other shards. My decision is made for now, I'll let you guys know if I change my mind.
