give us a price to start with atlast, which is in range with what you espect to get.
I have honestly no idea how much it's worth.

Me neither... this is the first one to be auctioned. I can't see myself letting it go for much less than 150k. I personally like it as a decoration, but I am saving for a keep.

i'll bid 90k not seen it bid on either but i know of atleast 1 more that exists cause i have a friend with one. it's always scary to bid/sell stuff early into a lotto because you don't know how valuable anything is until down the road lol

If you have a reserve, just start the ****ing bidding at that price. Otherwise, every person who bids before that is wasting their time and yours. What don't people understand about that?

Ja-Rule
October 12th, 2011, 12:12 AM
what the reserve?

SS0317
October 12th, 2011, 01:04 AM
The current bid is 120k, I will let the market set this item's value so there is no reserve. As much as I would like to have a reserve, it's hard to even say because one of these are yet to be sold, at least publicly, that I know of.

For that reason I am going to extend the bidding until Friday 8pm est so there is ample time for bids to be made and its true value to be determined.

I don't get what's going on with the donation rares this time around. It seems that the prices are being terribly inflated ... Maybe because some of the rich bidders don't really care about how much they are paying for items, as long as they win the bid.

Personally i dont think these seasonable donation items are worth as much as some of these ppl are paying...

In any event... just to go along with the l33t trend thats happening right now....

170K because its soooo worth it.

talking it down and bidding it up, he has no interest in it obviously. bump

Just cuz I'm ranting doesn't mean I'm not interested in it. I've been bidding on every Halloween item that's gone up for auction. I'm just getting fedup with the prices sky rocketing.

If I win I'd happily pay.

I'm doin the same thing that's been done to me.

Bidding ridiculously high

Donation rares are going to continue to go up in price because gold is losing its purchasing power every day... at least for goods that do not have a static price.

Theres been a lot of gold sold for RL cash recently so the value of gold has gone way down because of it.
It only affects the deco/rare market really though, other items haven't seen much inflation from what I've seen.

SS0317

I suppose that might have something to do with it. I would imagine fire dungeon + lack of significant gold sinks are the leading reasons we are seeing inflation in the rares market. Of course, farming in every other dungeon increases/devalues the gold supply every day as well.

The only real sinks IPY has is investing in character skills and new housing, which are both relatively cheap in the current market.

OK. Back to bidding. :)

rares aren't worth anything

worth 1 (wûrth)
n.
1. The quality that renders something desirable, useful, or valuable.

Some of the most expensive things we see today in real life have no practical use.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing on the rares this time Ja.

I don't care that they are going up I don't really donate, but honestly it's the buyers increasing it and I've told about everyone I know that donates I don't know why they don't jack the prices up and form a union because people paying $35 to get like 75k in game thru cbds is ridiculous. 75k ain't ****. $35 isn't a lot either but for 75kg it is. , i can make 75k+ in my sleep literally. I wish i could make $35 in my sleep.
That's why. I understand people buying gold to convenience themselves, but the amount you get for $35 is a joke.
I'm glad people do donate I just think the people donating need to charge more or make others donate because people will pay more because the people with $ would rather do that than waste $ on donation items.

gold is pointless if you don't spend it.
Even when you do spend it it's kind of pointless, but i'd rather have a rare item than gold piles and checks in my bank.
