Is there such thing as PvM tournaments?

Has there ever been one? I was thinking that Az and his team could program monsters that get harder and more challenging through out the tournament. Different tournaments consist of fighting solely or team co op. I thought it would bring it a lot of people to be interested and see what kinds of unique monsters you can fight. Winners get rare drops that have never been seen or rare drops that have been seen, but are worth good amount of gold. Anyone think this is a good idea?

UOSA had a tourney similar to this 'The Gauntlet, You fought in a 10x10 room with increasing spawn from mongbats-balrons... until you were the last man standing in the round. It was mildly entertaining.

i voted yes and think its a good idea - but we need to think of things that do not require staff assistance. they obviously cannot contribute much help - we should be focusing on things that we can control

I'm not saying do this right away because I do understand there are still things to be fixed and added to the game first. Thought it would be a nice idea to throw out there when they do have time to come to this or possibly get more staff members to get more things done. Wanted to see what everyone else thought of this and hope to see it someday on this realm.

I won a last man standing on baja. It was held in a 7x7 arena. Got a sash with my name on it. Then a few months later a macer broke it while I was pvping.

On Divinity I beat a balron 1v1 in a standard duel arena with duel rules. Was just for fun though.

One thing i would absolutely love to see would be like a level tourney thing..
Kinda like in Onimusha and God of War.
Like... 14 levels, as the levels go on the monster(s) get harder.
