Blue scouts

Hello Everyone,

I am new to IPY and have noticed in my runs through dungeons that reds like to use blue chars to scout the dungeons before they come kill me. After this happening to me a bunch in the last couple of days, the blues would even talk all nice to me i guess to keep me there, i have decided to start keeping names of these blue scouts so that i can be ready for when the reds come to kill me.
Unfortunately i only remember there being a blue named captian (something) who came before the killing the first couple of times. The last time it was a blue named SSing who came before 3 reds.
If anyone knows the names of any of these blue scouts and are willing to let me know i would appreciate it.

Just be suspicious of everyone when you're in a dungeon. I've noticed the nice people are either helping noobs, robbing you blind, or about to kill you.

yah i learned not to trust anyone now. The only problem is if i run from every blue i will never get to kill anything. I guess the reds can make different chars to scout with so maybe having a list won't work.
They should give me a white flag and i will wave it and drop my loot on the ground when the reds come. Don't get me wrong, i think reds are great part of this game and make it more fun, im just hoping for a head start when the ebolts start flying.

Just stay in range of a gate. When you see red names pop up, high tail it to the gate.

Stay in between the entrance, and a gate. Don't let the reds get between you and the gate.

Had something similar happen the other day. After about an hour of solitary farming, somebody popped out of a teleporter and asked "Hey have you seen any pallies around?"

Needless to say our group waited at that teleporter for the reds to show up not 5 minutes later. They weren't quite prepared for anyone to fight back, and ran off after a couple of attempts to dump on us.

It was the best laugh I've had so far.

Pro-tip... if there are reds between you and your town-portal then you can always go further down into the dungeon to get to the next portal.

Honestly the best way to survive most ganks since there are no mounts, just carry 5 full ref pots and 5 greater heal pots and run like hell.

If a blue has [Police Department] over his head, takes a few shots at a mob you're fighting and runs around saying "Weeeeee-Ooooooo" -- he's there as a red deterrent.

Yeah its funny to see a blue hide at the teleporter gate to block it and the reds show up shortly after. Noobs will be killed if they dont know to double click the gate when they get next to it. If you see players hide at a gate. Run.
trapped pouches, refresh, heal pots. If its just 1 red (which is rare) kill it. They are so rare they should be a paragon. =P

That is not how Maiden Voyage operates! Anyone who has seen me in a dungeon, if you're blue you're good with me. I try to help anyone in the dungeons, so that when trouble comes, I get told.

I've noticed sense MOO stopped playing basically Wax guild has taken over Hyloth pk runs. So if you see any Wax in hyloth expect to get pked soon after. Gnart in Wax is usually a guy I have noticed who he uses as a blue scout and then hides somewhere at the entrance on his red macer dexer named Shadow as well as other Red / Blue Wax players if they can feild them. Either way they are nothing compared to MOO fielding 3-4 almost always when pking. I only run Hyloth so that's all i got for this thread.

Some dungeons are more PK prone than others. I agree that you shouldn't trust anyone, but I do not agree that every blue who says something to you is out to kill you though maybe it is a rare instance and not worth the risk of finding out.

'Jabu' told me that if you have trapped pouches, refresh, strength, heal pots and you run.. no one should be able to kill you. If you see red, immediately drink a strength pot and start running for the portal. I didn't see anyone mention strength pots, but I believe they make it harder for someone to kill you.

Yeah if you get greater str pots they add 20HP to your life.
Keep in mind to use a heal pot right after it if your running. If you have time save the pot and heal normally.
