If that's south of Yew moongate there are plenty of threads complaining about this vendor.

Buyer beware, read what you are buying and if the deal seems too good to be true it probably is.

This would be GunSixShot & his dirty deeds.

About a week before the elections he was gating to this location. I do believe this is the reason why the vote for him to be exiled from Brit was posted.

No, I'm not saying this because he was running against me in the last election... I wish I had gone on my gut instinct and took the screenshots so we could see this perpetrator in action.

I ran over to confirm it was the same shop & found a poor fellow who had lost 3k.

I'm sure it was an imposter...lol. Everyone is racing to make a character name similar to GunSixShot.

Anyone willing to scam is willing to lie. Besides your scam vendors have been mentioned several times throughout the forums. You think people don't know by now?

Scams are perfectly legal, but frowned upon. No one should have any pity on you, since this scam house has been posted in these forums and the Brit forums many, many times.

It is interesting how eventually every single scam vendor "disappears" after they become known, never to show up. I mean, if they are making that much money, why would they stop? My theory: staff silently takes out the trash.

My theory: staff silently takes out the trash.

I'd like to see one example of this, since most scam vendors seem to have been single vendors at a house, not the entire vendor house being all scam vendors, like this one. This particular house has been reported many times (there goes your theory?), but still makes plenty of money I'm sure.

To sum it up, if you're not experienced enough in UO where you're likely to fall for a scam, like this one, only buy from reputable vendor houses. Yew Bank Vendors (see library link below) has a reg vendor that is always restocked and has solid prices. Go to Yew Bank to buy your regs :)

I do think they ban a lot of people silently. But i cant believe they would ban someone for a stupid 'fall once dont fall twice' scam like this.

Hey Meta wasnt asking for pity or for my gold back or anything like that but thanks for assuming I was. I was saying this for the new people that have never played UO and may not know what they are doing. If there was a sticky in this thread that might help. Otherwise new people probably wont go through all these pages to find something they arent even looking for. We are not all trolls :)

You're the one assuming here dude. That first sentence you pulled completely out of your butt, but thanks anyway for satisfying my craving for attention...for now.

The rightful assumption to be made from your statement here, is that you think scamming shouldn't be allowed, including scam vendors, and that this house's vendors should be ousted. How close was I, honestly?

Thinking scamming shouldn't be allowed in UO...LOL

It's not bannable.

But it's rediculusly easy to do and makes a ton of money! Apparently they will fix any in game features that make a lot of money through fair means (e.g. awesome cyclops spawns that were once available in despise) but if there is an easy way to greif/scam it is ignored and defended! wtf?
