Although there has been a big decrease in people leaving their chests after they have looted them be it due to fewer people playing or more deciding not to be *******s or more people informed on how to remove them. There are still quite a few people still not removing their treasure chests. All you have to do is click the chest and click remove when you are finished, the reason to do this is the chest take a very long time to decay on their own, around 3 hours I do believe. I have very seriously threatened at times to stop removing mine because of the few others who don't remove them, but I wont because of my respectful fellow t-hunters who do remove theirs. Please take the 3 seconds to remove your chest when you are finished. TY
Also I would still Like there to maybe be some sort of fix to the way it currently works, maybe where anyone can remove the chest after they empty it. Maybe even make it to where you do not get the lvl appropriate gold from your chest until you remove it. TY

Delete those chests!
I still think the majority just don't know though.
A lot of people who play have never been on the forums.

It wouldn't be an issue if there weren't l1 maps that come from afk fishers that people buy up to do and are capable of doing with 0 base in cartography without lockpicking. If l1 maps required 60 cartography/lockpicking I guarantee you less people would do them but since people don't even need to invest the skill points and can do them without their main character and it takes 2 mins/no spawn. Half the server has 3 afk fishers to make money - the other half can just buy the l1 tmaps from the fishers for 500g and go do them and double their money in 2 minutes without killing spawn/leveling any skills. It wouldn't be an issue if there were less l1 tmaps OR a required skill for it because it wouldn't be worth 2boxing to do it if it required 60 carto/lp (or ppl would have to make a new char just for that to 1box). They shouldn't be hard to do but maybe not so easy. spawn 4 ratmen/orcs when dug up like a normal chest just to make ppl work a little but nubs still able to do them. Give them skill requirements like all other levels of tmaps require. 500g would still be a good profit for someone new but when you have chars who are mostly built main chars with 0 carto/lp doing them recalling from 1 to the next doing 20+ at a time that's what causes the congestion. Should atleast require SOME kind of skill to profit on them. It would be a nice reward if they were only dropped by monsters, etc. but there is a high concentration of AFK fishers as well so there is way too much supply AND demand of these maps by people who don't work for their money lol. I don't really care about AFK fishers too much but in reality i don't understand how farming fish afk is not afk resource farming because I don't see how it's any different than unattended mining really except it's less cash made and you can macro in town protection. i don't care about the afk fishers but those are the 2 things that cause the congestion for treasure hunters. I don't think the people doing real maps are the problem, it's just the people that want to recall from spot to spot and loot everything and bail and get money for nothing.

Why is the respawn timer so obnoxious anyway, just fix it to like 20 minutes who needs this much time for a chest? or if its empty make it decay in 5 minutes for god sake
I would place the blame on people just NOT knowing this option exists, not that they do it purposely
