How is it?

TV is super saturated with crime scene shows trying to top each other with the most shocking and unrealistic deaths. Getting numbified. I was kinda looking forward to this show.
Stevie Spielberg is pretty cool and all, I just don't like how he uses lights and fog for sooooooo many action sequences. (Like Jurassic Park when the raptor is being moved in the beginning of the movie at night and when he attacks the dude when the door opens and you see all these rays of light coming from out of the cage and mad fog effects).

Is the writing good?
