An Apology to Balance / Skara militia

After those bugged treasuries, I chose to do the right thing to wait to disburse until the matter was settled, as to not create any additional work for staff. I wanted to be (and I think I was) as helpful as I could during the whole process so that Skara and the server would not be damaged by this bug. I know you guys continually asked for the militia money and I was not trying to hold back from you, but simply get us past this treasury issue and on with things.

Unfortunately, our treasury has lost roughly half of its pre- treasury theft bug value, sitting at barely over 200k (even after me having spent over 50k on regs today). The last number I had for it was 370k right before Thursdays OCB, where I did have to make 9 guards. However, we also captured Moonglows treasury (legitmately) during that OCB that was for 41k. Rough math tells me we should have been between 350-400k, not counting all of the growth in the couple days since.

I paged about the issue, but was told by the man himself that the value is indeed correct. I don't know where half our treasury went, but militia payments are going to be much smaller for awhile. I am sorry, and I have done all I can.

Thank you for your response, I am not attempting to attack staff at all. I simply don't know where it went, and am trying to get to the bottom of this.

I am anal about checking the treasury, for a few reasons, the biggest one because I like to know how much it rises per day to give my militia who ask a projection on their next payment. I do know pre-treasury bugs it was on a steady climb past 350, had tipped to 400, and then dropped again from disbursements and guards, and was at a steady 370k before the treasuries were deposited.

I just checked, and that day (Thursday) I made 9 guards total, ~27k gone from that. However, the same day (Thursday) moonglows treasury was also deposited which was over 95k. It is my understanding we get half of that, which might be taxed at 15%. So worst case, if it is taxed, that should be ~40,800 deposited from Moonglow's treasury.

After you factor in guard purchases, we are net positive 13,800 for the day, meaning by my math and some estimation, we should have been at ~384,000 as of Thursday. Since then, 7 guards have remained alive for an additional 2100 in upkeep per day. Though it is in my experience that even with that many guards alive, Skara always gains gold per day, especially since I have bought over 50,000 in regs today alone.

Assuming the math for treasury steals is that number, and then halved, and then taxed at 15% you get these numbers (as values of funds simply removed from the base treasury due to tax):

That end number is roughly what our treasury is down in funds, and it is my conclusion that all was set to right, except the final numbers which were taxed out of the final funds were not reimbursed to Skara. I believe the only thing that needs looked at is if infact the treasury is taxed at 15% of the of funds stolen.

Bump for still being unable to withdraw funds at all (the bankers are busy constantly I guess!) and the treasury still being roughly half of what it should be.

When I first posted this we hit 201k in the treasury while I was writing it.

Right now, about 25 minutes before OCB, we are at 235k. The entire time I have had 7 guards hired (so thats 2100 a day in upkeep). Just further trying to show that are treasury is rising daily, and at a fairly decent pace, so I am not simply making it up that ~172k is missing.

The bankers are currently preoccupied with the last theft, you cannot withdraw so soon.

Finally able to withdraw and disperse (Thank you if that was fixed) - but the treasury is still missing funds. Any word on that? I really think the 15% tax was the problem/overlooked, and adds up to exactly what we are missing.
