Why are you not warred? we have a crafter in our guild? Also I don't enjoy militia, I like to recall into towns, sometimes I am not even a citizen of the same town for other purposes. Vhaeraun, it doesn't solve all the problems but in the context of this thread it would certainly solve 0%'s problems. The gist here is that they really want to fight qop to the extent that they made a thread calling qop "pussies" basically. As Stylish pointed out, if they really wanted to fight qop that badly, they would just tag militia. My reply addresses two of the most common compaints about militia (no recall into uncontrolled towns and problems macroing).

Edit: And to respond to your comment, while I don't find as many fights as I would like, I certainly find more than if I wasn't in the militia.

I bandage my mage with an alt when i macro FS or melee.... and you cant do ANYTHING beneficial (not even rez) to a militia member if your not in the militia. which means id have to get baron rings on both characters or gimp 1 of them to 50% while the other gets 100%

the other huge issue with OCB is that its just a gank fest. its point system rewards and encourages ganking, killing afks, and generally bad pvp manners.


we really need to get guild wars going on a mass scale. OCB just is never going to become popular due to all its limitations

Violent beard is in our guild and is a close friend of mine, he doesn't have a microphone so he can't talk to us if he cannot use guildchat.

Call it ridiculous but you don't know all the facts. We'd gladly fight anyone since our militia is rouge and against all other militia so the arguement "growing a pair" isn't exactly valid at this point.

Most of the time we're fighting 5+ people when we're three and the only time we leave the fight is when our pouches are blown and it's a paragank fest.

Good point about the healer/sparring partner. I made a concentrated effort when the rings were first released to make sure that i got them on my main/healer/alt so that I could continue macroing on all three accounts and it is definitely a little bit of a hassle. Personally I think macroing should just be 100% in houses or at the very least you should get a Baron's ring upon signing up for militia. As far as ganking goes all I can say is that it's obviously going to happen and while I appreciate what you're trying to do with guild wars I'm pretty sceptical as to how it would pan out in game. I know as far as -U- goes we do both militia and guild wars to try and get as many people as possible flagged orange to us as we can.

Az just doesnt want there to be a huge influx of reds if that happens, but he could simply just keep house gains at 50% for reds... so i really dont get it

Sounds to me you have other priorities and could have waited till after you didn't need to clutch on to Paladin gear to Grind. While your Guild members clearly get a piece of qop everyday. Your left in your Suit of saftey grinding and feeling left out. Which gave you, A Growing need to make accusations about them being pussies.
