Introduction
The installation of Ultima Online and connecting to In Por Ylem is a fairly straight forward process, but this guide is designed to get you connected without any troubles.
This guide is specifically tailored to assist those on Windows 7, but is pretty universal if you're running anything but Windows XP.
It is highly advised if you are coming from another free UO server, that you do a fresh installation.
Be sure to back up any setting you might have previously had. If you are a regular EA player, please make sure you back up your Login.cfg before patching.
This guide will also go on to explain some basic mechanics of Ultima Online and help you survive the first day.
Main Steps
1. Download the latest Classic Ultima Online Client - (Optional. Do you already have the newest UO client?)
2. Patch! (Patch to IPY only - We do not recommend patching to EA through the UO Patcher)
3. Log in!
