Master Scroll

Scribes on IPY can partake in a competitive market for scrolls due to the implementation of the Master Scroll.

Master Scrolls

Vendors no longer sell most 7th and 8th circle scrolls. These are only found as rare drops from higher level monsters and are no longer just regular scrolls, but Master Scrolls.

A master scroll will appear blue in color.

Having the Master Scroll to a 7th or 8th circle spell is the only way a scribe can make copies of that spell. Copies can be used normally by mages, but cannot be used for Inscription purposes. A screenshot of a new style master scroll: [1]

An old style master scroll

1. Masters Scrolls only drop from select monsters (clarification, not an update).
2. Dropped master scrolls have a random 'durability' between a fixed range of 40 to 80 charges, each attempt to inscribe a scroll will result in the loss of a charge. Once the charges reach 0, the Master Scroll is deleted.
3. Master scrolls which have the [+1] tag can be 'double clicked', assuming you have a blank scroll in your back pack and the sufficient level of inscription, to provide a copy of the scroll. Level 7 require 60.7 inscription, level 8 require 75 inscription.
4. You must have the scroll in your spellbook and have the Master Scroll in your backpack in order to scribe any level 7th or 8th level spell (with two exceptions: Mana Vampire and Resurrection. These do not need master scrolls).

Earth Elemental - Summon Earth Elemental Master Scroll.

Air Elemental - Summon Air Elemental Master Scroll.

Fire Elemental - Summon Fire Elemental Master Scroll.

Water Elemental - Summon Water Elemental Master Scroll.

Daemon - Summon Daemon Master Scroll

Ogre Lord - Earthquake Master Scroll.

Poison Elemental - Energy Vortex Master Scroll.

??? - Chain Lightning Master Scroll.

Ancient Lich - Meteor Swarm Master Scroll.

Bone Magi - Mass Dispel Master Scroll.

Drake - Gate Travel Master Scroll.

Dragon - Flamestrike Master Scroll.

Chicken - Polymorph Master Scroll.

Gargoyle - Energy Field Master Scroll.

Ressurection and Mana Vampire do not require Master Scrolls to scribe.
