Mining for Colored Ore

Colored ore is present on In Por Ylem, but is much harder to find than players may be used to. Colors spawn at approximately 50% of the rate of official servers.

The color of the ore in a certain node seems to be fixed, however, due to some unexplored mechanic, sometimes a colored node will "downgrade" to a lesser color.

Each color requires a different minimum amount of Mining skill to dig and smelt. Once a miner reaches the minimum skill requirement and finds a vein of a color, the miner will have an approximate 50% chance to dig colored ore on each swing.

Ores with higher minimum skill levels are also more rare and valuable to find, and more difficult to smelt into ingots.

When smelting player-crafted Blacksmithy items made from colored ore, the smelter must meet the minimum skill requirement for mining the color before he or she can smelt the item.
